Chelsey was driving back to her town from a sort of “Mothers Day Out” thing offered by her Jack Skellington Did I Piss You Off That’s Great At Least I Am Doing Something Right Shirt . Bo went to the church to play with other kids and Chesley had taken Kinley out for dinner and a movie, kind of a mommy daughter date. Most parents would’ve enjoyed a kid-free night but not Chesley. She loved taking the kids out one at a time. She felt it was important among siblings that each child felt special and unique, instead of just kid #1, kid #2, and so on.nthey were on their way to get Bo and head home. We were told that a man driving a silver Mercedes SUV had been at bar with his buddies when they decided to take the party back to his house in the same town Chesley lived in. He was distracted, causing him to cross over the double yellow on a 50mph two lane highway. He was going about 70mph. Chesley died on impact, while Kinley suffered a broken collarbone, a few cracked ribs and a cracked femur. While these were serous injuries, she was expected to recover and be able to go home in a few weeks.

My sister was gone. Chesley was gone and my niece was in the hospital, probably facing many months of physical Jack Skellington Did I Piss You Off That’s Great At Least I Am Doing Something Right Shirt , medications and psychiatrists. Did she know about her mother yet? Who had told her? Where would she and Bo end up? Their father wasn’t in the picture. He hadn’t been around since Bo was born. He ended up being a real asshole, and they’d been better off without him. Would they try and find him and send the kids to live with him? I hoped not. There was no way my family would let that happen. Would they send them to live with our parents? Mom and Dad were not (and still aren’t) physically capable of caring for a six year old and a two year old. Not to mention they were both completely crushed and broken. My mom had been trying to care for Bo since the accident, and she just can’t do it, as much as she’s trying.
